Author Showcase: Kwasi Atta

The Creator Of Splitted Kingdom

We recently caught up with Kwasi Atta, the author of Splitted Kingdom - A Hidden Crime, the first in the series of a jungle adventure story, and creator of many other stories.

Below is a summary of the conversation we had with Kwasi Atta:

Tell us, what inspired you to become an author?

I was inspired by some of the books I read when I was a child; books like Oliver Twist, The Gods are not to blame and A tale of two cities. Works of other authors also inspired me a lot.

What message are you sending your readers through your books?

Although most of my work is meant to entertain, they mostly carry the message of decency and purity.

Tell us a little about your most recent book and why it is a must-read?

My most recent book is Splitted Kingdom -  A Hidden Crime. It is a must read because it is unique. It entertains and still teaches morality.

Do you have any other books your readers can look forward to?

I have books such as Knitted by Fate, A Childhood Pledge and the tourists. I will also be publishing the other series of Splitted Kingdom very soon.

Do you ever get writer's block and if so, how do you overcome that?

I do get writer's block sometimes. It normally occurs when I am beginning a new manuscript. I overcome it by relaxing for a few days before returning back to writing.

What book have you read that most influenced your life and why?

The book that most influenced my life is the Holy Bible. This is because I am a christian and as a christian I must live by the Holy Bible. Books like Oliver Twist also influenced my career as a writer a lot because they made me believe I could become a writer.

What has been the toughest criticism given to you as an author?

The toughest criticism I have received as an author is that I will be wasting my time being a writer. This is because of a misconception that the industry is not supportive.
